About Us

Cortex Dog Training is based in Salem, Oregon and our goal is to help you and your dog live your best lives. We focus on teaching owners how to clearly communicate with their dogs. We believe a well-trained dog is a joy to own, but most importantly, a well-trained dog gets to go on more adventures! Cortex Dog Training takes you and your dog's needs and goals into consideration while making training goals. 

We use balanced training methods meaning we use reward-based training and well-timed corrections to teach your dog desired behaviors.
